**What is F*ckUp Night Gold Coast?**

The monthly event that celebrates the mistakes and whoops moments in business.

We bring together experienced business owners and Founders who value sharing the realness of business.

An opportunity to connect with a community with similar values. You never know who will be in the room.

Each month we have 3-4 speakers sharing their f*ck up story. Plus a speaker panel discussion. Our aim is to not only dissolve the stigma around failure, but also bring forth real, raw, relatable and refreshing conversations about business.

F*ckup nights is a global movement and held in 250+ cities around the world. Every location is a bit different. On the Gold Coast we have a big focus hearing from a variety of industries, especially brand founders, product based ecomm, bricks and mortar, Saas, tech products as well as service based.

We also have a VIP round table pre-event on the same night.

Throughout the evening there are multiple opportunities to connect and meet other like minded business owners and entrepreneurs. We generally have between 50-70 guests attend each month. We have a professional photographer capturing the night each month with occasionally a videographer.

What we look for in a speaker:

Our speakers are brand founders, experienced business owners, CEOs or startups who are happy to share with authenticity. These are stories about business mistakes and mishaps that others can learn from.

Be willing to be genuine and share a juicy story without pitching.

Share a story and not teach a lesson. You don't need to be a professional speaker (Tegan will support you with your story)

Share about the event leading up to the night to your audience via social media, emails or wherever you community is.

Is this only for business owners?
Yes, but you don't need to be in that business now to share your story. We do get lots of people wanting to share personal F*ckups, but unless it's business connected, it's not a fit for our stage.

Do you have a podcast or youtube that I can also share on?
Yes, you can chat to Tegan about being a guest on her Product Founders Podcast.

I'm not sure what to share / I'm a little nervous about sharing my F-Up publicly
You'll get a call with Tegan where she will help find your best story and a way you feel comfortable sharing.

My story is very private, how will I make sure it stays in the room?
The condition of entry to our event is that you don't record the speakers stories. We have had stories about celebrities, 8-9 figure financials, partnerships, shut downs, agreements going wrong. These stories can only be shared with these agreements in place.

Hey, I'm Tegan.

**Meet Your F*ckUp Night Host for the Gold Coast**

Product Founder Consultant and Mentor; exited jewellery brand founder, professional MC, Podcast Host and TEDx Speaker.

Tegan started Hosting F*Up nights after having a multitude of fuckups herself during her 10 years in business. Her journey includes overcoming thyroid cancer then starting a jewellery brand from the hospital bed after surgery. She then went on to do over 1000 markets, building an ecomm brand scrappy before opening 2 retail shops learning on the fly, then proceeded to sell and exit her jewellery brand for 6 figures when others said she couldn’t!

Tegan is on a mission to bring authenticity and real talk into business networking and events; celebrating the downs and what it actually takes to run a brand and remove the stigma of failure in business.
